Why am I having problems accessing the CHFI Loyalty Club?

If you are having trouble accessing the CHFI loyalty club you will need to clear your browser cookies and stored files. Please click here and select the type of browser you are using and follow the step by step instructions. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank-you for your patience.


 

Am I eligible if my postal code is not in the Rules section?
At this point we are tweaking our Rules section.  We had a template to work with originally and now we're expanding to compensate for our massive signal.  The general consensus is that if you can hear 98.1 CHFI on your radio at home you will be eligible to enter the Loyalty Club, and take part in contests.  We at CHFI want to make sure that this promotion is fair to all of our listeners. 
With that said, please keep in mind that if you "redeem" an item, you will need to travel to 777 Jarvis St, Downtown Toronto to pick up your prize at the Rogers Video Store.  No prizing will be mailed out at all.

 

I haven't received any points for signing up. Why?
The reason for this may be because you haven't entered the code that was provided in the first e-mail your received.  You can enter this code and all others under Earn Points and clicking Gift Card Codes.

 

Why does my account status say "pending"?
After you register, your account status will remain "pending" until your email address is verified. Your email address is verified and your account validated once you click on the link in the email you receive from us. (This email will come from chfi@m2omedia.com.) You can still earn Points while you are waiting for your account to be validated. You will not, however, be able to claim any prizes or redeem raffle entries until your account status is valid.


I did not receive an email asking me to validate my account. What should I do?
If you did not receive an email from us and your account is still pending, please follow these instructions:

  • Open your internet browser and log on to your account
  • Click on this link or copy and paste this link into the browser that you opened to log into your account: http://www.m2omedia.com/chfi/members/account/pending.jsp
  • This will bring you to a page with instructions on how to validate your account

What should I do if I'm having trouble logging into my account?
If you're having trouble logging into your account, please try the following solutions:

  • Make sure you are using the correct username and password. If you don't remember your username and/or password, click here, enter your email address, and we'll email it to you.
  • Clear your cache. Cache is a process that keeps track of what you have been doing recently. It saves you processing time when you repeat tasks; but sometimes it gets overloaded.
  • Internet Explorer users:
  • Check your security settings. Your internet security settings must be set to "medium".
  • Check your privacy settings. Your internet privacy settings must be set to "medium".
  • You may have to add us to your trusted sites.
  • What is the difference between a Daily Songs & Trivia and a Bonus Code?
    The Daily Songs & Trivia is given out at various times. You have 24 hours from the time the song is announced, to enter it. A Bonus Code is given out through e-mails and special giveaways and events. Please check when receiving a bonus code to see if there is an expiration date.

    How do I earn Points?

    Go to the 98.1 CHFI website and click on the CHFI Loyalty Club link. Enter your username and password in the login box on the left hand side of the page. Once you've logged in, click on one of the categories under Earn Points, located on the menu bar near the top of the page.

    How do I use my Points to earn Rewards? There are two ways to earn rewards with your Points. You can redeem Points for goods and services that are offered on the CHFI Store page or you can redeem Points for entries into our Enter to Win Drawings. To access either the CHFI Store or Enter to Win page, log in and click on one of the categories under Spend Points, located on the menu bar near the top of the page.

    Enter to Win: You can enter any of our Enter to Win as many times as you wish (as long as you have enough Points). To redeem an entry into the Enter to Win of your choice, please visit the Upcoming Enter to Win page, click on the drawing you'd like to enter, select the number of entries you'd like to redeem, and click the "Purchase Entries" button. Remember, the more entries you have, the better your chances of winning!

    I've redeemed a prize with my points, how to I claim it?
    To claim your prize, follow the instructions on the confirmation page.

    What do I need to play the CHFI Loyalty Club?
    The CHFI Loyalty Club will run on any machine running Internet Explorer 7.0 or Netscape 7.0 or above. You will also need Internet access. The CHFI Loyalty Club is not supported on Web TV.

    Can I join the CHFI Loyalty Club if I have a Macintosh computer?
    Of course!  You can run the CHFI Loyalty Club on a Mac using Firefox or Chrome as your browser.

    Instructions for Clearing Cache:

    Netscape Users (must be using Netscape 7.0 or higher):

    • Enter Netscape
    • Edit
    • Preferences
    • Advanced
    • Cache
    • Clear memory cache
    • Clear Disk cache
    • Then Try again

    Internet Explorer Users (must be using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher):

    • Enter Internet Explorer
    • Tools
    • Internet Options
    • General
    • Delete files ??? located in the "Temporary Internet File" section
    • Then Try again.

    If you are using AOL:
    You will need to clear you cache AND delete your "cookies"

    • Click the Start Button in the lower left hand corner
    • Click Control Panel
    • Double click Internet Options
    • Under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files
    • Click OK to delete files
    • Next, to the right of delete files, click on Settings
    • Click View Files (it may take a moment for the files to appear)
    • Click the EDIT pull down menu at the very top of your screen
    • Click Select All
    • Click the FILE pull down menu at the very top of your screen
    • Click Delete
    • A warning box will appear, click YES
    • Click X to close that window
    • Click OK to close the next window
    • Click OK to close the next window
    • Click X to close the Control Panel Window
    • After you have cleared your cache, and/or deleted cookies, close all programs, shut down your computer and log on again.

    Instructions for adding us to your Trusted Sites:
